Topics include:
Course breakdown:
1. Introduction to plumbing- History, tyres of plumbing, purpose of plumbing.
2. Safety/ Health Practices
– Tools
– Fittings- Water Supply, soil/ waste and vent
3. Fixtures used in plumbing, Soil Fixtures, Waste fix, auxiliary appliances, ie. Pump & tank, heaters.
4. Tap & Valves used in plumbing.
5. Practice- installing cold, hot water, shower mixture.
6. Installation of soil, waste & vent.
7. Installation of Fixtures- face basins, W. C ( toilet), pump/tank, heaters
8. Group assessment with a project
